HOW TO APPLY

Applications are now done online on the SchoolMint Parent Portal. Parents/Guardians are now able to complete the application online without printing, faxing or emailing!

Students who are new to SDCCS must complete the New Student Application Form and participate in a school tour. Enrollment applications do not rollover and must be submitted each school year.

The 2025-2026 school year application will be live on SchoolMint on October 1st, 2024. Priority enrollment is from October 1st, 2024 – February 28th, 2025. Applications submitted after priority will be placed at the end of the waiting list in the order received.

The 2024-2025 school year application is still available on SchoolMint! Applications submitted will be placed at the end of the waiting list in the order received. If you have applied for the current school year, you can call our office at 858-496-1613 or email admissions@sdccs.org to see where your child is on the waiting list.

• Students applying for Kindergarten 2024-2025 must be five years of age on or before September 1 of the school year that they are applying.
• Students applying for Transitional Kindergarten 2024-2025 must have their 5th birthday fall between September 2 to June 2 of the school year that they are applying.

• Students applying for Kindergarten 2025-2026 must be five years of age on or before September 1st of the school year that they are applying.
• Students applying for Transitional Kindergarten 2025-2026 must turn 4 years old on or before September 1st of the school year that they are applying.

Acceptance of an enrollment application does not guarantee placement at SDCCS. There will be additional forms needed during the registration process with strict deadlines for families to submit the required documents for school entry.
